Follow our three-step guide to get your AeroPress brewing at it's best.

What you'll need:
  • AeroPress
  • Filter papers
  • Scales
  • Timer
  • 17g of fine-to-medium ground coffee
  • Kettle
  • Spoon

Place a filter paper into the AeroPress’ cap, attach it and place it on top of your chosen cup. Rinse it by pouring hot water into the AeroPress, as this helps warm your cup at the same time. Discard the rinsed water and place the AeroPress onto your scales.

Put 17g of your chosen ground coffee into the top of the AeroPress; feel free to use the funnel that comes with it. Set your scales to zero, start your timer, and pour 250g of boiled water into the AeroPress. Carefully place the plunger on top with a rolling motion to seal it, but don’t push it down.

Once the timer reaches two minutes, remove the plunger. Stir forcefully for a few seconds, place the plunger back on and push down very slowly. You should start to see a small mountain-like peak of grounds being formed. Aim to finish pushing at around the 2:30 mark. Enjoy immediately!
