Colture is proud to offer the ground-breaking, trend-setting Ratio Eight Coffee Maker: a bold concept that converted thousands of coffee lovers to a whole new way of preparing their favourite brews. Don’t let its simple design fool you: beneath its stylish exterior is precise brewing science, automated to produce the perfect cup, every time.

Gathering feedback from champion baristas and its customers, Ratio has created the Eight to emulate a manual pour-over, fine-tuning this flagship product to guarantee a sweet cup of coffee that lacks bitterness.

With the simple push of a button, Ratio simulates a true barista pour-over process, and its subtle white lights tell you what’s happening with the brew cycle. The Ratio Eight slowly feeds hot water through your grounds at the ideal temperature – 93.3°C; 200°F – to ensure even extraction. Its hidden tech applies a cycle that allows your coffee to bloom and settle down.

What’s more, it cleverly responds to how much water you put in; whether you’re going all out with a 40oz carafe, or you’re filling a 16-ounce cup for a journey, the clever Eight automatically determines the amount of water you’ve added and adjusts the brewing time accordingly.

Designed at Ratio’s HQ in Portland, Oregon, every one of its machines is meticulously hand-assembled, and its dedication to quality means you won’t find yourself getting an appliance with built-in obsolescence that only lasts a couple of years; every Ratio machine is covered by a five-year limited warranty.
